Author Bio
Robin Anne Ettles is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Amiskwacîwâskahikan (Edmonton) who calls Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island) home. The daughter of a RCMP family, she grew up in a number of Canadian provinces. She completed her master’s studies in clinical psychology at l’Université de Moncton. There, she spent as much time in the Fine Arts building as she did on her own degrees. Writing has always been a part of her life playfully and professionally. This is Robin’s second book of short stories. The first won this category of the Rubery Book Award in 2020.
As a freelance bassist and guitarist, she has toured parts of North America, Europe, and Australia, and continues to accompany artists of different genres. She produced several records for artists while living in NB and scored dozens of documentary series produced for Radio-Canada. Music is still an active part of her artistic life.
